Vets Finding Vets is a free program especially designed for Chautauqua County Veterans. This program is multi-faceted, but I want to invite you to join us as we have a special event coming up soon.
On Wednesday, August 30, from 4-8, we will be having an Open House at the Fenton Research Center at 73 Forest Avenue. This will be a great time to stop in to see how we can help you to find answers to some of the unsolved mysteries in your family history, explore the details of the service of the Veterans in your family, etc.
Bring a spouse or friend and take this opportunity to learn the various resources that we have, that, as a Veteran, are accessible to you without charge.
If you are unavailable on Aug. 30, call Barb at 716-664-6256 to arrange to meet at another time.
Other fun events are coming up in September as we have two Bingo nights scheduled at Fluvanna Fire Hall as fundraisers for our Soldier’s Friend Scholarship Fund. They are Saturday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, September 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for both evenings. Mark your calendars!
