The 2022 Featured exhibit “Saint Nicholas Church: The First 100 Years” opened on June 22nd. We welcomed guests from the church congregation and community at an open house where we enjoyed punch and Halva, A dessert that dates back to the time of Alexander the Great, which was provided by church member Liz Fredricks.
This exhibit was completed in coordination with the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church as part of the larger Centennial Celebration they are planning this fall. The exhibit tells the story of the founding and growth of the church over the last 100 years and highlights the impact of the church, and the congregation on the broader community in Jamestown.
The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Fenton Mansion and will be on display through November 1, 2022.
