The Fenton Travelers group spent a very enjoyable day with members of the Just For Fun Bus Trips group on August 16 as we spent a FULL day traveling to Genesee Country Village in Mumford, NY.
We arrived at GCV just in time for lunch and a trolley tour of the extensive grounds. GCV has over 70 historic structures on the property, all of which came from WNY counties.
We then traveled into the beautiful and quaint village of LeRoy to the Historic LeRoy home and the adjacent Jell-O Museum. We were given very interesting tours of both facilities.
On the way home we all took in the beautiful green hills and farm fields, so rich and abundant this year. We arrived at Sprague’s Maple House in Portville just in time for dinner.
