Fenton Hosts Medal Ceremony for World War II Veteran Tom Tedesco

On December 8, 2022, the Fenton History Center hosted the medal ceremony for Private First Class Thomas Tedesco, a 98-year-old veteran of World War II who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, including service on D-Day and at the Battle of the Bulge.

Senator George Borrello read about Private Tedesco’s military service at the ceremony and presented him with the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal (with two Bronze service stars), the World War II Victory Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Honorable Service Lapel Button, and the New York State Conspicuous Service Cross and Medal for Merit.
