Lecture: Corry-Jamestown Manufacturing
Corry-Jamestown Corp. was an office furniture manufacturing company located in Corry, Pennsylvania. But it began in Jamestown, New York, and involved a number of people from around the country with connections to Jamestown and the metal furniture industry. Needing a factory building for the new company a factory was found in Corry and the company moved there in 1919 and the rest is history. Karen Livsey and Sam Genco will present.
The 2026 Fenton History Center Lecture Series features evening lectures between April and October. This event is free and open to the public. Lectures are held in the dining room at the Gov. Reuben Fenton mansion. They are also streamed via YouTube. Donations are appreciated to support the Fenton History Center’s mission to preserve local history and provide educational opportunities.
