Visitors to the Fenton Mansion originally entered through the double doors of the front entrance, and stepped into the vestibule where a member of the governor’s staff greeted them.  Guests left calling cards as a record of their visit in the home.  Notice the complex fan-shaped flash-stained and painted glass above the door and the four decorative niches.
