Again, this summer the Fenton has two summer interns. They joined us on July 6, 2022 and have been helping with many different tasks including inventorying supplies for the Gift Shop, rearranging the Gift Shop to showcase our branded mugs and T-shirts and helping to enter data in some of our databases. They also have been greeting our guests and directing them as needed.
Amber Gleason lives here in Jamestown and attended Jamestown High School. She has not made any specific decisions on post high school education at this time; however, she has plans to start her own business and then to buy a home. During her time at JHS she has really enjoyed Art class and volleyball. During her time at the Fenton, she enjoys walking around reading all the many historic labels and signs.
Mia Raj lives here in Jamestown and attended Jamestown High School. She is planning to attend Buffalo State College with a goal of becoming a lawyer. Her planned major will be International Relations and politics. She seems to enjoy everything about school and has been involved in the Student Government and the Pride Club. When not in school she enjoys reading, writing and playing video games. Her love of learning continues into her time here at the Fenton as she is enjoying learning about the history of our area. She has enjoyed meeting all the new people that come in to visit the Fenton.
