Tables will be dispersed throughout the Historic Mansion. Attendees will be charged a $3 entrance fee (per Adult) and will have a chance to get a head start on their holiday shopping. If you are interested in having a table at the Fenton Holiday Craft Fair, contact us as soon as possible because space is limited. Call 716-664-6256 or email director@fentonhistorycenter.org.

Our last Lecture Series for the year will be held on Wednesday, September 13 at 7:00 pm. The speaker is Paul Johnson and he will be speaking about the old hotels and steamboats on Lake Chautauqua. Join us for an enlightening evening at the Fenton Mansion!

Also in September is our fundraiser for the Soldiers’ Friend Scholarship that we give out every year. Join us for Patriotic Bingo on Saturday, September 23, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Fluvanna Fire Hall on Fluvanna Avenue in Jamestown. (See the flyer in this newsletter for more information).

October brings the Saints and Sinners Cemetery Tours on Saturday October 7, Saturday October 14, and Sunday, October 15. The Carriage Tours are sold out, but you can still purchase tickets for the walking tours and the Mausoleum Tours on Sunday. We still need a few more volunteers for tour guides and actors, so if you are interested in getting involved, give us a call!

On Saturday October 28 we have Trick or Treat from 4 to 6 p.m. throughout the Fenton Mansion. There will be refreshments, a craft for the kids, and lots of treats. Trick or Treat at the Fenton is a fun way to introduce your children or grandchildren to the museum, so, everyone put on a costume and join in the fun on October 28th!
