Lecture Series: John Henry Mann

John Henry Mann of Stow was the first Chautauqua County resident to be killed in action during World War II when he was stationed at Hickam Field in Hawaii on December 7, 1941. Janet Wahlberg will tell his story.

The 2025 Fenton History Center Lecture Series features both morning and evening lectures between March and September. This event is free and open to the public. Lectures are held in the dining room at the Gov. Reuben Fenton mansion. It is also streamed via Facebook. Donations are appreciated to support the Fenton History Center’s mission to preserve local history and provide educational opportunities.
