History Fair

The Fenton History Center is organizing a History Fair that is free and open to the public. Event is Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church at 3363 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown, NY 14701. We will have history vendors, books for sale, and a guest speaker. Genealogy classes are also available for those who pay for registration to the genealogical conference.

We will have a special guest speaker at 9 a.m. Caleb G. Abrams, an Onöndowa’ga:’ (Seneca) filmmaker and multimedia artist from Brantford, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York, utilizes his works to challenge settler-colonial narratives and highlight Indigenous truths and connections. With a diverse approach encompassing documentary, magical realism, and surrealist video art, he not only writes, directs, and produces his own films but also collaborates with various media and cultural organizations.

Thank you to our sponsors: Media One Group / WJTN, Rodgers Land Surveying, and the Jean Vandewark Olson Stowell Genealogy Research & Education Fund.
