Since the Fenton History Center launched the annual fund in December, we have raised $14,125 towards our $31,725 goal.
This year the Fenton Historical Society of Jamestown, New York is celebrating its 60th Anniversary, and there are necessary repairs to be made on first floor of the Gov. Reuben Fenton Mansion.
Repairs need to be made in the first floor hallway as well as the Orientation Room. There is a lot of damage as a result of roof leaks. The old plaster will need to be replaced.
Our goal consists of $17,800 for the hallway (walls and ceiling repairs) and $13,925 to repair the damage to the Orientation Room.
Please help us meet our goal to preserve the historic Fenton Mansion for the years to come. Those who donate $1,000 or more to this project will have their name engraved on a plaque that will hang in the entrance to the hallway.
