The Fenton History Center has a couple of new objects on display, namely, a Maddox highboy in the Furniture Room and an infant’s gown in the Swedish Room.
The Maddox highboy is made of maple and was donated by Carol Ritter Wright of Fairport, New York.
The baby gown was donated by Kerry Johnson of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The donor’s father lived in Jamestown and wore it as an infant. His great grandparents emigrated from Sweden in the late 1800s.
Nelson Brothers Lumber is part of their family legacy.
