Brother Allen,
I have a great many thoughts to express and not much room or time to express them in. Pa and P. are going to start for Canada Wednesday. Cynthia goes with us as far as Buffalo.
I got $16 per month it is awful rainy this morning. I stayed with Frank last. Pa is there this morning chopping
Colo [the family dog] is not dead yet. Kate Randall wears as large as hoop as ever. I heard you said I was out of the family until I wrote to you, so you see I am anxious to redeem my place.
