I will send you a few hasty lines to let you know how to direct with regard to any business concerning your husbands affairs and to give you all of the information I can with regard to him.. he was wounded in the arm and started to leave the field.. I see in the papers he is reported killed but I think he is taken Prisoner and not killed but I do not know for certain he has got pay Due him from the U.S. Government to the amount of $508.80 cts up to February 28th and he has two months pay Due him from Feb. 28th to April 30th… if you Should here from him before I do please let me know
