DESCRIPTION:The Southside of Jamestown in the mid-1800s to early 1900s was a mix of neighborhoods and thriving businesses. Explore the beauty and majesty of an era gone by in the south-side neighborhoods near Forest Ave. Also, learn about the early businesses and people who thrived there. The tour begins at the Fenton History Center parking lot.\nTour guide is Dr. Tom Greer. The tour is approximately 2 hours long and will start and end at the Fenton History Center. \nThe Fenton History Center conducts historic walking tours from June to August. The cost is $12 for non-members and $8 for members. Participants can pre-register online, at the Fenton, or by phone at 716-664-6256.
