DESCRIPTION:\nThis year’s Churches Tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Zion Covenant Church, 520 Fairmount Avenue in West Ellicott. Our second church on the tour will be Hessel Valley Lutheran Church, 166 Hessel Valley Road, Chandlers Valley, Pennsylvania. This is a very historic church, founded by Swedish immigrants to the area in the late 1800s. It is locally famous for having hosted Karl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, in the Spring of 1976. Tour guide is Cindy Dustin. Cost is $12 for non-members and $8 for members. Pre-register online, at the Fenton, or by phone at 716-664-6256. There is a limit of 20 people for each tour.
