This video was taken in Jamestown, New York during the summer/fall of 1941, just prior to entry of the United States into World War II. It was professionally produced on color film, which was relatively new at the time, and was shown at Shea’s Theatre in Jamestown where it was promoted as an opportunity to “See Yourself in the Movies”. Added to the end of the film are several scenes taken by the projectionist of Shea’s Theatre, of Chautauqua Lake and the steamer of City of Jamestown in the thirties. No tax is added to the sale of this DVD since the cost of this item is a direct donation to the Fenton History Center-Museum & Library.
